Stunning, fantastic location not far from Jules restaurant for a communion, other historical attractions, and the castle where Brave heart was filmed. Besides, very convenient to Tickets. Bright room and huge with a comfy bed. Great facilities.

My Husband and Myself had a very warm welcome on arrival, We booked with Trim Castle Hotel as we stayed there before and wanted to go back to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, We were happy we did as all the staff, waitresses & waiters were very pleasant and accomodating to us. We had a delicious three course meal in the bar & our overall stay in the hotel was very relaxing. We will definately return maybe on our second anniversary.

We were seeking a quiet, relaxing few nights to unwind on our way home from a hectic business trip - and that is exactly what the hotel offered (presumably the weekend would be slightly different?). An excellent, spacious room with all the necessary facilities, and beautifully quiet. Very good breakfast included and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very convenient for exploring the small town and numerous historic sites. Overall a very good quality 4 star hotel to which we would definitely return.
After reading all the great reviews about the restaurant (Jules), we were very disappointed to find that it only opened on Friday and Saturday nights. Whilst food was available in the bar, we really wanted a restaurant experience, and thankfully found a very good option nearby at Franzini O'Briens.

When booking the hotel, i asked if we could possibly have a view of the castle. The room was wonderful great view and the room was lovely. Did not think the receptionist was not very friendly did not say what time breakfast was nothing about the hotel.. We asked to book ino the resturant for dinner and we were told it was closed on sundays, this was a bank holiday. The breakfast was lovely staff very friendly. When checking out the never offered us a print out of the bill which we would always get from all hotels an never asked us did we have a nice time. Would go back to the hotel for the town and the hotel it self.

The staff were all excellent, delicious food in the restaurant / bar and service was top notch. Pleasant & relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. Very good value for money.
Our room was quite small! Of course we could have asked to be moved to a different room but just try to get a room on the front / side of the hotel, not an interior room. Other than that no complaints.

perfect stay near historical landmarks and lovely parks
I enjoyed my stay with a cozy room, great service, and the best part was the hotel being just a few steps from Ireland's Oldest Bridge and a short walk to beautiful Butterstream Gardens, where I could relax and soak in the scenic views.

Savoury breakfasts, and incredibly kind staff.
The breakfasts for vegetarians. Stunning, lovely location to Trim Castle. Based near to the castle/park where the movie Braveheart was shot as well as local pubs for supper and traditional music.

The Trim Castle Hotel faces the Anglo -Norman castle across the road. Although the hotel is a modern building, the front of the it blends in well with its surroundings. The rooms are spacious ,clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinners were very good. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. We were there midweek with a group. Everyone seemed to enjoy their stay. Very good value and would definitely recommend it.

The details you care about most
A historical gem with a prime location next to the majestic castle and charming walks by the river. Rooms offer comfort but could use better soundproofing. While dining experiences were mixed, breakfast could certainly improve with more substantial options. The staff's hospitality shone through, particularly during meal services.

The hearty breakfast after the night before. Plenty of it and a wide variety of choice. All the staff were very courteous and helpful in every section of the hotel from reception to the bar to the cafe as we used all the facilities.

The staff were friendly. The noise from a nearby event was disruptive, and the food quality could use some improvement. It's a good option for those looking for a comfortable getaway.
